開放性
EtherCAT 技術(shù)不僅與以太網(wǎng)*兼容,而且還有特別的設(shè)計開放性特點: 該協(xié)議可與其它基于以太網(wǎng)的服務(wù)和協(xié)議并存于同一物理介質(zhì)中 - 通常只會對整個網(wǎng)絡(luò)性能有很小程度的影響。任何以太網(wǎng)設(shè)備均可通過交換機端子模塊連接至一個 EtherCAT 總線網(wǎng)段內(nèi)部,不會影響周期時間。帶現(xiàn)場總線接口的設(shè)備可通過 EtherCAT 現(xiàn)場總線主站端子模塊集成到網(wǎng)絡(luò)中。UDP 協(xié)議變體允許設(shè)備整合于任何插槽接口中。EtherCAT 是一個*開放式協(xié)議, 它已被認(rèn)定為一個正式 IEC 規(guī)范(IEC/PAS62407)。
