Objective: To investigate the protective effect of resveratrol on liver injury caused by concanavalin A (Con A). Method: Con A was used to induce liver injury in mice, and resveratrol was administered orally for treatment. After 3 days, blood was collected to detect serum ALT, AST activity, and nitric oxide (NO) content. The activity of liver tissue superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured, and pathological changes in liver tissue were observed. The results showed that the activity of ALT and AST in the middle dose group of resveratrol was significantly lower than that in the model group (P<0.01), However, compared with the biphenyl diester group, there was no significant difference (P>0.05); Compared with the model group, the moderate dose group showed a significant increase in SOD activity and a significant decrease in MDA content in liver tissue, with a significant difference (P<0.05); The serum NO content in the high, medium, and low dose groups of resveratrol was significantly lower than that in the model group (P<0.05); The pathological changes of liver tissue in the medium dose group of resveratrol were significantly reduced. Conclusion: Resveratrol has a good protective effect on Con A induced liver injury in mice, and its liver protection mechanism is closely related to the anti lipid peroxidation damage and inhibition of NO production。
